I love that recruiting is finally utilizing more creative ways to filter candidates and capture those with skills and not just what’s on the “resume.” Real-world application, experience, creativity – these are valued skills now. This doesn’t discount the soft-skills, but does help narrow the field for recruiting on the one hand, and opens the field for applicants on the other. At least, those are my thoughts for this morning.
